Welcome to the Library
At The Hill our library is more than just a place to borrow books; it’s a vibrant hub of learning and discovery that supports our commitment to the Oxford International Curriculum. We believe in the power of holistic education, which nurtures not only academic skills but also social, emotional, and ethical development, preparing our students for active global participation and responsible citizenship.
Our library is equipped with a diverse range of resources tailored to enrich the learning experience of our students. From engaging picture books for our youngest learners to informative non-fiction texts and thought-provoking novels for older students, we have something for everyone. Our collection emphasizes global perspectives, ensuring that children develop a broad understanding of the world around them.
For in-class reading, we use the Oxford Reading Tree. The Oxford Reading Tree has over 800 books across different fiction and non-fiction strands including Biff, Chip and Kipper Stories, Songbirds, Traditional Tales.
